No need for you to tell your answer if you are a little lazy. The fact is that we recycle less than a third. OUCH!
Most cities give away recycling bins, so that you too can join the fun. Just call your city and have one delivered! I live in Spartanburg, SC and it is rumored that they will give more than one bin if I ask. (I'll keep you posted) Now that I am recycling I have far less garbage than before!...I hope you will too!

Great information, Gaffney. We live out in the county--not in the city. Do you know if the offer of bins extends to the county? We use recycled cardboard boxes from Patrick's business to sort our recyclables, but Patrick keeps breaking them down and recycling them at the recycling center rather than bringing them home so I can reuse them. AARGH! Then, I don't have sorting containers. As I mentioned, we live in the county and don't have trash pick-up. I love your blog! ~Kelly

We would have to ask the city, but until then, use your boxes to separate glass, plastic and cardboard. Then kiss Patrick on the cheek and thank him for taking it ALL to the recycling center for you! Patrick is a good man. (There is always one behind his wife! Kudos Kelly!!
